Welcome to TanLine (“the App”). By using this App, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Use of the App
- The App is provided for informational purposes only.
- The UV index and related recommendations are based on publicly available forecast data.
- You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Subscriptions & Payments
TanLine offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions to unlock premium features.
2.1 Subscription Types
- Monthly Subscription – Renews every month.
- Yearly Subscription – Renews every year.
2.2 Payment
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
- Prices are shown clearly in the App before purchase.
2.3 Auto-Renewal
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
2.4 Managing Subscriptions
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings.
- Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
2.5 Free Trials
- If offered, unused portions of a free trial period will be forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
3. Health and Safety Disclaimer
- The App does not provide medical advice.
- All recommendations (e.g., sunscreen, shade, limiting sun exposure) are general guidelines and may not apply to every individual.
- Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns related to sun exposure or skin health.
4. Location Services
- The App may request access to your device’s location to provide localized UV index forecasts.
- Location information is used only on your device to fetch UV data and is not stored, shared, or sold.
5. Limitation of Liability
- We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that UV index data or recommendations are error-free or always up to date.
- You agree that the developers are not liable for any damages, injuries, or health issues arising from use or misuse of the App.
- Use of the App is at your own risk.
6. Intellectual Property
- All text, graphics, logos, and code in the App are the property of the developer unless otherwise stated.
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App without prior written consent.
7. Termination
- We may suspend, limit, or discontinue the App or access to it at any time, without prior notice.
8. Changes to Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted in the App or on the official website.
- Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
