Privacy Policy for Sanovnik

Mobile Coding Factory doo (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the Sanovnik mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect
Health data
If you enable Apple Health integration, Sanovnik reads and writes the following through Apple’s HealthKit framework:
- State of Mind (your mood), which you log after interpreting a dream, and which the App reads back to correlate with your journal entries
- Sleep analysis (read-only), used to detect when you wake up so the App can remind you to log a dream
This data is processed on your device to power the App’s mood-tracking and reminder features. We never use Health data for advertising, and we never share it with advertising partners or any other third party. Health data you grant access to is managed entirely by iOS; you can review or revoke this access at any time in the Health app or iOS Settings.
Your dream journal
If you save personal notes about a dream (available with a Sanovnik Plus subscription), those notes are stored in your private iCloud database via Apple CloudKit. This data is tied to your Apple ID and syncs only across your own devices — we do not have a separate account system and cannot read your notes ourselves. The App’s built-in dream dictionary content is stored separately in a public database and is not personal data.
Advertising identifiers and usage data
Sanovnik shows ads to free (non-subscriber) users through Google AdMob, using Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect your consent and Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework to request permission before any cross-app tracking occurs. If you grant tracking permission, AdMob may collect your device’s advertising identifier and advertising interaction data to show more relevant ads; if you decline, AdMob shows non-personalized ads instead. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Purchases and subscriptions
Sanovnik Plus subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We only receive confirmation of your entitlement status (whether you’re subscribed) — we never see your payment card details or billing information, which Apple handles directly.
What we do not collect
Sanovnik does not collect your name, email address, physical address, phone number, contacts, precise or coarse location, photos, or browsing/search history. We do not use any analytics or crash-reporting SDK — no Firebase, Crashlytics, Sentry, or similar service is integrated into the App.

4. Legal Basis for Processing and Your Rights (EU/EEA Users)
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, our legal bases for processing your data are:
- Consent — for advertising identifiers and personalized ads, collected via App Tracking Transparency and Google’s UMP consent flow; you may withdraw this consent at any time
- Contractual necessity — for processing your subscription status to provide Sanovnik Plus features you’ve purchased
- Legitimate interest / necessity for the App’s core function — for Health data and journal notes needed to provide the features you’ve chosen to use
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data (for your journal notes, you can also simply delete them in the App, or delete the App/your iCloud data)
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing

5. Data Retention
Your dream journal notes are retained in your private iCloud database for as long as you keep them, until you delete them yourself or delete your iCloud account data. We do not maintain a separate server-side copy of your notes. Health data retention is governed entirely by Apple’s Health app and your own device settings.
6. Children’s Privacy
Sanovnik is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can address it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated “last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you within the App.
